Special Entry Packages for the 2020 Great Kei Trek

We have listened and I think we may have learnt from 2019. What we learnt is that most of you just want to pay once and not have to worry about booking a bike, a bus, a braai, accommodation etc. We have structured rates and packages as follows – thanks to Kulula Holidays, one of our key sponsors, for a bit of inspiration. All these packages include a team entry:

A Standard Team entry consists of the following:

  • 3 days of amazing riding through the Eastern Cape. 
  • 2 race villages with various Tented Accommodation Packages 
  • Goodie Bag with GKT apparel
  • A comfortable mattress. You will need to bring your sleeping bag and pillow. (Definitely a blanket as well)
  • 7 meals in total plus a great pub manned by the farmers at each race village. (Don’t say we didn’t warn you about the farmers)
  • Professional medical support is included however we do advise that you get special medical cover just in case
  • Full logistical support from Super Rent who will transport your Rider Box from race village to race village
  • 3 - 4 water points along the route each day
  • Great finish on Day 3  - The Cliffs of Morgan Bay - soak in the view, have a “selfie” and “refresh” yourself, compliments of Emerald Vale 
  • Gauteng riders will be able to register in Johannesburg and then have their Rider Box transported to Queenstown and back to Johannesburg after the race 
  • Bike transport offered for Gauteng riders at a nominal rate 
  • Bus shuttle from East London airport to Queenstown – now at a nominal rate
  • Bus shuttle from Morgan Bay on the 2nd or 3rd of May to the East London airport – now at a nominal rate

BUSINESS CLASS Package – R 11 450 pp or R 22 900 per team – only 35 packages available here

  • VIP Tented Accommodation – 1,8m high tent – 2 stretchers and 2 camp chairs per tent
